As a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation I run a nationally recognized state-of-the-art clinic specializing in non-surgical, drugless, and natural chronic pain relief treatment solutions. My interest in a non-surgical approach started back in my teenage years. I suffered from multiple injuries studying the martial arts and spend countless hours jumping around, kicking, punching, and throwing people around. So, I know a thing or two about knee pain as over the years I suffered quite a bit myself.
Through my own personal experience and my background in the martial arts, I've always had more of a holistic point of view. I knew it was important to continue to keep my movement. I knew that taking pills and drugs was not the answer. I carried these beliefs through to my clinical practice. What I observed in my clinical practice was that a lot of patients were suffering from pain. They've been diagnosed with osteoarthritis, bone on bone, loss of cartilage, meniscus tears or ACL tears and injuries, tendonitis or bursitis. They'd been prescribed pain medications and anti-inflammatory medications and undergone physical therapy, steroid injection and Viscosupplementation injections. Their medical doctor or surgeons have recommended surgery or they'd been through surgery in the past.
It’s been my observation that they feel quite frustrated. They feel like they've tried everything and have been unhappy with the results or lack of results. They don't like the way drugs make them feel. They've also been told by their doctors that mothing can be done but surgery. This despite the fact that most of the patients want to avoid surgery.
My patients are, for the most part, feeling confused, unsure, scared about what to do. They're looking for support. They're looking for guidance. They're looking for assistance. I'm here to tell them that they are not alone, that there's hope for them. There's quite a bit of misconception as to what really causes knee pain, and why so many patients continue to suffer following these treatments. The fact of the matter is that prescription drugs will never solve the problem. Drug companies don't want you to know that. If there was a cure for your pain, then you wouldn't need to be taking the drugs. The stone-cold truth is that corticosteroid injections and drugs actually can cause more knee problems for you. And physical therapy can actually make your knee pain worse if not done properly.

Dealing with Chronic Pain & Inflammation!
When someone has chronic pain every part of their life starts to deteriorate. It affects their work, their sleep, how they interact with their family, being able to participate in the favorite leisure activity or even run their daily errands. Because of chronic pain, an individual may not be able to exercise and they gain weight. As a result of not being able to stay active or being put on medication that may have side effects, chronic pain sufferers are more prone to developing other health issues like heart disease or diabetes
There is hope for individuals with chronic pain if we can improve their function and start the healing process. Once they start to heal, they can do things again that they enjoyed in the past. Their quality of life improves both physically and emotionally.
The first step to healing, is to understand the condition that causes the chronic pain and realizing that if you don’t seek out a solution, your condition will worsen over time. You also need to realize that relying on dangerous drugs, pain injections or surgery won’t cure the condition. These methods only allow your condition to progress and expose you to potential risk and side effects.
What if nearly everything you have been told by doctors about your chronic pain has been wrong? If there is a better way, a less risky way, to improve your function and start to get some healing with some of these conditions then wouldn’t you want to know about it?
